枸杞子 Wolfberry

枸杞子 gou ji zi, Chinese wolfberries or boxthorn fruit and is more commonly known as dried goji berries.

Despite having consuming them for 2000 years in common recipes and traditional medicine.
The name is said  to be originated from the 18th century when the Chinese farmers saw the wolves feasting among the berry-laden vines  during late summer at prime harvest time. despite having consuming them for 2000 years in common
It is a natural supplement for improving eyesight especially if poor eyesight is caused by malnutrition, vessel expansion and inflammation. Consuming goji berries may help if you experience eye strain from staring at computer screens and documents for long periods of time.
Goji berries are also beneficial for the liver. A healthy liver manifests in better looking eyes and vision. Traditional chinese medicine taught that any sickness in the liver can be observed from the eyes. For instance, people suffering from hepatitis or jaundice have very yellowish eyes.

Thank God for the OUB 1 for 1 deal or we would not have gone there,

The place was decorated nicely with overhanging umbrellas that serve as lampshades, full glass to enjoy the seaview without our feet in the sand,I felt like having to walk into the movie set of Lakehouse,a remake movie of a Korea movie.
The selection was limited

The Plus
Prawns: big,fresh,juicy and yummy!!
Clayfish:whole clayfish ,steamed, fresh! clayfish at its best!
beef : medium rare
Oyster:big, yummy ,juicy, some do not have a good texture (sorry, i m picky on oysters)
chocolate moose for dessert
a chocolate fondue as topping for 6 favours of ice-cream
cheese!

The Minus
Pumpkin soup : canned ones do a better job
watasbi tasted powdery, even they themselves told us that they were still loooking into it

Uninteresting:
prawn mee:the noodles were too hard, soup was tasteless
overboiled vegetables
over seasoned and cooked 'smoked' salmon

How to make your trip worth:
Enjoy the nice view and the quiet setting, take lots of prawns and clayfish,go easy on the rest
Good enough for one-for-one :)
