Salmon Sandwich (a la carte section)

Salmon Sandwich (part of the tea set with fancy description)

The champagne was the highlight in the set.

The laurier- Perrier Afternoon Tea set and parts of the a la carte
Check out the scones (a la carte section)

Les petits-fours

The elaborated descriptions that were too long for my eager eyes and hungry stomach to read.

Cheers to having an afternoon tea..with french champange :p

Costed us a total of £42 , not cheap but the view and the food is definately worth it !
Stars: 8/10 for tea time
for the afternoon set set (due to the price :p )
9 /10 for the a la carte menu as the sandwiches, scones are amazing ,the jams bleongs to the better English selection but I have already been pampered by French jams so, in comparison, the jams here are slightly less inferior. However if you want a simple English tea affair, without champagne and fancy petits-fours, choose the a la carte section, this is one of the place with a superb view and would not burn a hole in your wallet.

We were too late to have a quality tea at the restuarant so we headed for some tea at the basement.

The design was contemporary and modern like the museum itself, new spirited in an old building. Despite being located at the basement, you can enjoy the light and the lush greenery above.

The operater Searcy's ensures everyone can enjoy light and healthy tea breaks, like sandwiches. As we arrived after 4pm , faced limited choices, we enjoyed our meal due to the fresh, quality ingredients used. :)

Stars: 8 /10 for a teatime :)

Min Jiang

A celebration to end my June Exams and acceptance of Akshay's Ph.D thesis, we chose the place right across the exams venue, right infront of the door of ACJC, Min Jiang @ One North.

Tea, they have a good selection of fine chinese tea.

The xiao long bao here really puts many acclaimed tim sum restaurants to shame.

The next few photos are going to give you an eye fest,
they are small in serving you can have a few pretty decorated dishes and yet without the sinful feeling!

After eating and stiring abit, the soup changed appearance to look 'cloudier'
but its all the goodness of the  four treasures of the sea :)

We were still not full so we took the lobster yi mee and its amazingly :)

The coconut pudding surpassed the jelly in margarita glass.:)

Akshay is digging out the very last bit of it,
too good to be left for the bin :)

The bill : 280+  (for 3 people we ordered a set for 2 and additional lobster yi mee ,2 glasses of wine@ 12 each and tea @ $10)Address: 5 Rochester Park
